Élan Chevilly-Larue Basket (ECL Basket) organised a referee training day. 17 members of ECL Basket and Rungis Chevilly Basket 94 (RCB), our CTC, learned how to referee a game by understanding the rules and playing 5x5 while being introduced to refereeing. A big thank you to the participants for their commitment.
Why train as a referee
No referees, no game. Training as a referee also helps you understand basketball when you play: the rules become clearer and your reading of the game improves.
- Understand the rules and read the game better
- Play 5x5 while learning to referee
- Take the first step towards official refereeing
This training is a required step to become a departmental referee.
What next?
The club needs referees and volunteers every game weekend. If refereeing appeals to you, write to us: ecl94contact@gmail.com.
